Young Children - National Cycle Route 7
For the littlest nippers cycle route 7 heading south from the village is perfect for first bike rides. Beginners, balance bikes, stabilisers or just a relaxed family spin, this 2.5 kilometre tarmac cycle path toward Gartmore is perfect for any ability.
The Aberfoyle Bike Hire is the perfect starting point for this and the team there will have all the information you need.
Gravelfoyle ‘Faerie’ Route
The Gravelfoyle Faerie route lends itself perfectly to family rides. This 5km loop is suitable for kids confident in going that little bit further. The beautiful undulating 10km loop round the forest is the perfect family ride.

Aberfoyle Bikepark
Located just 100m from the main car park. The Aberfoyle bike park provides the perfect location for all abilities to practice their skills. With a range of blue, orange and black routes there is something for all the family.
Endura Lifecycle Trust
Situated 6 miles from Aberfoyle is the wonderful Endura Lifecycle Trust. A small trails centre and skills area, perfect for the kids and families to enjoy.
The trust was set up primarily for charity groups so has limited opening time to public access, but well worth a trip then.
